I recently enjoyed reading -- among other books -- Wild Brews by Jeff Sparrow (http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Brews-Culture-Craftsmanship-Tradition/dp/0937381861/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1277939117&sr=8-1) which inspired me to give making some wild beers a whirl. Following the discussion in the book and a very helpful thread on HBT ("Catching Wild Yeasts") I've tried catching some wild yeasts, so hopefully I'll get something tasty and not horrific. I'll post more details as it progresses.
